The Hotel has been recently re-built in traditional chalet style completely redecorated following the bio-architecture ideas for a better quality of life and it offers high quality accommodation incorporating many environmentally friendly features
One of the oldest hotels in St Anton, the Schwarzer Adler dates back to the 1550s. It was built by the Knights of St. John on Arlbergstrasse with the stones from the “Arlen” ruins, as a Tyrolean inn for travellers and wagon drivers. In 1885, the hotel was bought by the Tschol family whose 5th generation still owns and manages the hotel today
